Running a band is like being the boss of a business where no one shows up on time, gets paid or knows when soundcheck is. It can be expensive, frustrating, and sometimes thankless - so at the very least, you deserve somewhere affordable to practice.
We are offering our studio space (outside of lesson hours) for bands on a Pay-What-You-Can or Pay-It-Forward basis. The principle is exactly what it sounds like: you can choose to pay what you can afford for your rehearsal time (any amount is fine), or you can offer your artistic services or skills to us in another way - you can help out at an event, put on a show/industry night or run a workshop, post a blog, bring us free beer or coffee, it all counts. Our plan is to create a hub for artists to collaborate, play, and help us grow our community, spread the word and inspire a new generation of musicians.
